Group threads
Named groups with invite links, slow mode, and per-thread controls.
A group has a name of up to 30 characters and an optional photo. It is encrypted end to end up to 256 members.
Invite links
A group can be joined by link. Links expire after a period you choose, never by default or after 1 hour, 1 day or 7 days, and can be revoked. A link that has been revoked, has expired, or has hit its limit says so plainly to whoever opens it.
Slow mode
Slow mode limits how often each member can send: off, 10 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute or 5 minutes. It is the quietest way to calm a thread that has become unusable.
Group chat intelligence
From Sapphire, a group thread can surface its own action items, decisions and open questions. From Sapphire Pro, Group Catch-Up recaps what a thread covered while you were away, and appears once there are at least 20 unread messages. Both are toggles in Settings, then Surf Vision.
