Replies are capped at 500 characters on every tier. A single upload may be up to 100 MB. Shorts are capped at three minutes on every tier, paid or not.
Alt text
Every image takes up to 500 characters of alt text. Write it for someone who cannot see the picture: what it shows, not what it is called.
Polls
- Two to four options, up to 80 characters each.
- Options can carry images instead of text.
- Duration is 1, 6, 12, 24 or 72 hours, or one week. The default is 24 hours.
Smart polls, on Sapphire Pro and above, suggest the options for you from what you have written.
Content warnings
A content warning is up to 100 characters and hides the post behind it until a reader chooses to open it. Readers who have set hide sensitive content in their feed filters never see it at all.
Who can reply
- Everyone
- The default.
- People you follow
- Replies limited to accounts you follow.
- Only people you mention
- Replies limited to the accounts named in the post.
- Verified accounts only
- Sapphire Pro and above.
Tagging and location
- Up to 20 people tagged per post, and up to 10 tags placed on a single image.
- Up to 5 collaborators credited on one post.
- A location label of up to 30 characters, which also places the post on the map.
