Included from Sapphire. It cuts a long source down to a tight edit: it finds the parts worth keeping, trims the rest, and lays in captions and pacing. You get an edit you can then change by hand, not a locked render.

The editing agent

Included from Sapphire Pro. Type what you want, in your own words, and the agent performs the edit using the same operations the interface exposes. It has 51 tools, and it cannot do anything you could not do by hand.

Examples of what a single instruction can cover:

• Cut the dead air and add captions in the neon style.
• Make the first clip half speed and put a transition between every cut.
• Remove the background and drop me on the b-roll.
• Grade this warmer and lift the shadows a little.

What it will not do

• It does not publish. The edit lands on your timeline and you decide what happens next.
• It does not invent footage. It works with the clips in the project.
• Every action it takes is a normal timeline edit, so all 100 steps of undo apply to it.
