Multiple accounts
Up to five accounts can be signed in on one device, and switching between them does not sign you out.
Add an account from your profile menu. Up to five can be held on one device at a time. Switching is immediate and does not end the other sessions.
What is kept separate
- Feeds, follows, drafts, bookmarks and settings are per account.
- Encryption keys are per account and are namespaced on the device. Removing an account wipes its keys, sessions and safety-number trust records.
- Subscriptions are per account. A Sapphire plan on one account does not entitle another.
Signing out
Signing out clears the message-decryption material held for that account on that device. If you have not set up chat backup, history that only existed on that device is not recoverable.
