Creating a Space
Creating a Space requires Sapphire Pro. Joining one never does.
Creating is the paid capability. Anyone on any tier, including Free, can find, join and post in a Space.
Setting one up
- Choose a name, 1 to 60 characters.
- Choose an address, 3 to 30 characters, lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens only. It has to be unique.
- Write a description of up to 500 characters.
- Pick a visibility: public, restricted or private.
- Add an icon and a banner, or pick one of the 14 themes.
- Write the rules.
Rules
Up to 10 rules, each with a title of up to 100 characters and a description of up to 500. Rules are shown to anyone who opens the Space and are what a report inside it is judged against.
Invites
Invite links can be limited by number of uses or left unlimited, and expire after 7 days by default.
Pinned posts
Up to 3 posts can be pinned to the top of a Space. Use them for the introduction, the current thread, and the thing people keep asking about.
